Tibbermore

Tibbermore is butler and manservant of Lady Strowan Westwood. He is an old Goblin who still retains a rigidly upright bearing and has piercing blue eyes.

Tibbermore was sent to summon Findo Gask to an interview with Lady Westwood when her granddaughter disappears with a precious magical item.

The series currently comprises nine books, all in various stages of completion:

Most of the characters in the novels are based on place names in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland, many of them close to the tiny village of Findo Gask.


Tibbermore is a small village in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland. Its parish extends to Ruthven; however, the church building is now only used occasionally for weddings and funerals.

Previously known as Tippermuir, Tibbermore was the site of a not inconsiderable battle between the Duke of Montrose and an army of Covenanters.
