The Lower Realms of the Goblins - those vast caverns deep underground populated by the long-lived elder race - is a secret now known to few humans. Curiously, the teeming human world remains entirely familiar to the ancient ones.

The Goblins have long ago appropriated certain characteristics from the world of men and augmented that with their own magics - or at least magics long available to the lower world. A society hidden from, yet interacting with, the surface world of men brings its own tensions and complexities: an opportunity which the astute private operator can use to their own advantage.

Paramount amongst those who stride the two worlds is a detective, a Private Investigator known as Findo Gask. A talented and preternaturally lucky individual, one with contacts in the most unlikely of places, one ideally suited to the task of providing a solution to those knotted complexities that entangle those whose interest span the worlds.
