Mayfield Westwood

Mayfield is the sole granddaughter of Lady Strowan Westwood. She is described as stunningly beautiful and extremely determined, taking after her famous grandmother in this regard.

Findo Gask is engaged to track Mayfield down when it is suspected she has stolen a valuable necklace from Lady Strowan. He finds her living on the surface, in rural France, in the company of a human male called Glen Morrison.

Most of the characters in the novels are based on place names in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland, many of them close to the tiny village of Findo Gask.

Mayfield Wood and West Wood are both wooded areas close to Findo Gask in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland.
