Tillyfor

Tillyfor is a burlesque dancer in the chorus line at the Midnight Square Theatre, in a revue organised by the impresario and stage angel Dalgrin Balloch. She is described as a tall and well-proportioned female with smoothly-polished mahogany skin, and wears a long expensive-looking fur coat and very high stilletto heels.

Tillyfor engages the services of Findo Gask to search for her sister Tillykerie.

Most of the characters in the novels are based on place names in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland, many of them close to the tiny village of Findo Gask.


Tillyfourie is a small settlement near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
