Roy Bridges

A legitimate businessman and the owner of the largest casino in Las Vegas. Findo Gask and Gumshoe (a.k.a. Martin Gamshack) performed an assignment for him on one occasion.

Most of the characters in the novels are based on place names in the Perth and Kinross region of Scotland, many of them close to the tiny village of Findo Gask.

Roybridge (Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid Ruaidh, "the bridge over the Roy") is a small village that lies at the confluence of the rivers River Roy and River Spean, located 3 miles east of Spean Bridge, in Inverness-shire, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland.
